Iron golem Follow-up
Winter_Cooler here checking back in. I sent some feedback about two weeks ago on the Iron Golem situation in Eggwars, and after putting in more time, the match pacing is still completely broken. When I sit down to play, I’ve got maybe 40 minutes for a session, not 2 hours to grind through a single stalled-out match. Right now, teams just turtle behind 4 Golems and immediately drop a replacement the second one dies. It kills all momentum and drags games out forever. Here’s why it’s hurting the experience: It’s an AI crutch. Noobs rely entirely on bot defense instead of actually learning to fight, bridge, and defend. Snowballing kills comebacks. The first team with resources just locks down the island with Golems, making it extremely tedious and frustrating for anyone trying to push. Too much visual noise and frame drops during fights, which ruins clean PvP. The cleanest solution is still pulling them from the standard shop entirely. If they have to stay, they need immediate tuning: Cut total HP by at least 30%. Dial back the damage output. Drop the placement limit per team. Add a cooldown penalty between placements so players can't instantly restock them. I respect the work you guys do and I know you guys have other stuff to do, but I'm getting a bit mad having to deal with this every session. The pacing really needs to respect players' time so skill actually decides the winner. Appreciate your time, Your one and only, Winter_Cooler
