Kitpvp
Look, I've been playing KitPvP for a while now, and the competitive balance is seriously lacking. If we want the game to stay viable, we need to address these specific kit mechanics: 1. Sonic/Scout (Mobility & Hitbox Desync) The Speed II/III modifiers are causing significant "teleport-strafing" due to browser-side latency and client-server desync. It makes the player hitbox nearly impossible to track reliably. The Fix: Increase the knockback coefficient by 25-30% while the speed boost is active. This creates a high-risk, high-reward dynamic where accurate counter-hits effectively launch the attacker out of the trade zone. 2. Tank/Knight (Effective HP & Damage Mitigation) The current damage reduction from full Diamond-tier armor allows Tanks to ignore burst combos entirely. The Fix: Implement a "Guard-Break" mechanic. After three consecutive heavy weapon hits within a 2-second window, the Tank’s damage reduction should drop by 15% for 3 seconds. This forces defensive players to actually time their blocks rather than just soaking damage. 3. Pyromancer (Interrupt Tick-Rate) The fire damage tick-rate is currently synced to the movement engine, meaning it permanently resets the sprinting and healing timers. The Fix: Reduce the "Afterburn" duration from 5 seconds to 3, or increase the tick interval so that a player has a 0.5-second window to initiate a sprint or consume a healing item between damage ticks. 4. Archer/Sniper (Projectile Velocity & Hitscan-Lite) The recent 20% buff to arrow velocity has turned the kit into a "hitscan-lite" experience, removing the need for projectile leading or drop compensation. The Fix: Revert projectile velocity to the v2.4 standards. This restores the skill gap, requiring Archers to predict opponent movement patterns rather than relying on point-and-click mechanics. 5. Alchemist (Status Effect Stacking) Being trapped in a permanent loop of Slowness and Poison is a joke. The lack of internal cooldowns on splash potions means you basically stop playing once the first hit lands. The Fix: Implement a "Status Resistance" cap. After a player is affected by a Slowness or Poison potion, they should gain immunity to further negative effects for 4 seconds. This prevents the "zero-counterplay" lockdown and actually gives you a chance to fight back.
