TNT Collision Bug

hi hello konnichiwhat's poppin, so basically i was making a lil' parkour map and i decided to have a little cave section. i thought i'd just use TNT to make some caves and clean them up later because tbh i cannot be bothered mining all that out, and when i lit the TNT it phased right through all the stone i filled in, went straight down to another perfectly made section, and exploded there. so i guess TNT just doesn't collide with certain objects or something idk
