Item counter issue

Sometimes when I split stacks using the right click button in my inventory, the number on the bottom right corner (the counter) doesn't change. I hope this gets fixed quickly, because it's quite annoying I have to repetitively skip out of my inventory to recheck the numbers. Thanks.
